Dangers of Injury

■ Danger of suffocation from plastic fi lms and bags! Keep children and animals away
from the packaging material.
■ Wear protective equipment during use! This includes hand / wrist guards, knee, elbow
and head protection (helmet).
■ Wear sturdy shoes (preferably with a fl at rubber sole) and do not wear any wide
clothing that may become caught on the product.
■ Stop riding immediately if you experience weakness / dizziness, nausea, chest pain,
palpitations or similar symptoms.
■ Only ride on suitable surfaces. Avoid riding close to steps and bodies of water!
■ Do not ride on a wet, slippery or precarious surface (snow, mud, puddles, sand,
grass). There is a danger of slipping and the performance of the brakes may be lower.
■ When riding, look out for any uneven surfaces or changes in the surface you are
riding on.
■ Make sure you adapt the way you ride to your skill level! Riding, steering and braking
should be learned slowly and all require skill. This will ensure that you avoid any falls,
collisions or injuries.
■ Do not jump on or off in an uncontrolled manner!
■ The brake is only suitable for reducing your speed on a fl at surface. It is not suitable
for steep slopes! Adapt your riding style on steep slopes to prevent any falls.
■ If you use it constantly, the brake can get hot. Do not touch it immediately after
braking.
■ Always hold the handlebar fi rmly with both hands!
■ Do not transport any loads! Do not hang any bags or objects on the handlebar. Do not
rest on the handlebar. This will impair the riding safety.
■ Keep body parts away from rotating parts.
■ Store the product out of the reach of children and animals!
■ Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. Do not
allow the cable to hang from tables or similar places as somebody could use it to pull
down the battery pack.
Danger From Rechargeable Batteries
■ If the battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to
come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected
sites with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.
■ Do not dismantle the battery pack, throw it into a fi re, immerse it in liquids or short-
circuit it.
