Folding Up and Adjusting the Steering Rod
■ Take care in the area of the folding mechanism: Make sure that your fi ngers are not
trapped!
■ Make sure that the quick clamping fastener is in a secure position. Fold down
forwards so that no items of clothing or similar items can get entangled.
■ When you fold it up, make sure that none of the cables is trapped!
1. Place the scooter on a dry, even and fi rm surface.
3. Fold up the steering rod (7) until the folding mechanism for the steering rod (18)
audibly engages, and push down if necessary. ATTENTION! Do not trap your fi ngers!
4. Close the safety catch (A) on the folding mechanism (18) again. The steering rod (7)
is now securely anchored in the upright position.
5. To adjust the height of the steering rod (7), open the quick clamping fastener (24).
6. Adjust the steering rod (7) to the ideal height. Make sure that it remains straight and
is not pulled out too far.
7. Close the quick clamping fastener (24) again.
Folding Down the Steering Rod
• To fold the steering rod (7) down again, proceed in the reverse order to the one
described in the "Folding Up and Adjusting the Steering Rod" section.
The steering rod (7) must be pushed down to the lowest height as otherwise the
safety catch (A) cannot hook in properly.
Attaching the front light
1. Remove the screw for the front light (23) from its fi tting on the steering rod (7) by
releasing the self-locking nut with an open-ended spanner or similar tool.
2. Place the front light (23) into the holder and position it correctly.
3. Fasten the screw with the aid of the screwdriver and the self-locking nut.
If necessary release the screw slightly, adjust the front light (23) and tighten the
screw again.
Folding Out and Adjusting the Rear-View Mirror
• Fold out the rear-view mirror (5) to the full extent. Do not touch the surface of the
mirror but rather the hinge as you do this.
• Adjust the rear-view mirror (5) correctly so that the rider has a good view of the area
behind the scooter while they are riding from either a seated or standing position.

2. Open the safety catch (A) on the folding mechanism (18):
