Switching on and off
To switch on: Press switch A.
To switch off: Press switch A.
Important!
Keep the cooling vents on the motor housing clean
and unobstructed at all times.
To be able to make the best use of the swing
sander, always use original spare parts and
accessories, available from all specialist retailers.
Fitting the sanding disk
Easy disc replacement thanks to Velcro-type backing.
Make sure the apertures in the disk coincide with those in
the backing pad.
Replacing the backing pad
Release the 5 screws (1) and then remove and replace the backing
pad.
Important!
Damaged backing pads must be replaced immediately. Always
remove the plug from the socket first.
Working with the sander
The entire sanding surface must rest on the workpiece.
Switch on the machine and, applying moderate pressure, move it
over the workpiece in circular, crosswise or lengthwise
movements.
Use a coarse-grained disk for rough sanding and a fine-grained
disk for fine sanding. The best grain for a particular job is best
ascertained by trial runs.
Important!
The sander must never be used for work on materials which
contain asbestos.
