The UWE professional ZS scales are designed for weighing products.
The scale is designed for use involving Compulsory (ClassIII) and non- compulsery
calibration witin the EU. It corresponds to the design described in the model approval certificate and the
current statutory requirements of EU directives, and the European standard EN 45501.
Before putting the scale into use, please read with care the information given in the operatinginstructions.
They contain important instructions for installation, proper use and maintenance of the appliance.

When using electrical components under increased safety requirements, always comply with the
appropriate regulations. Never perform work on the appliance wile the power is switched on.
Improber installtion will render the warranty null and void. Ensure the voltage marked on the power
supply unit matches your means power supply.
The device is designed for use within buildings. Observe the permissible ambient temperatures for
use (Technical information).
The device meets the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility. Do not exceed the maximum
values specified in the applicable standards.

It is sufficient to clean the scale with a moist cloth and a regular cleaning agent. Do not use any scourers.
The scale does not require any routine maintenance. However, we recommend to check the scale's
accracy at regular intervals. The regularity of these checks is dependent on the level of use and the state
of the scale. If any inaccuracies occour, please contact your local dealer or UWE professional
service partner.
Interference suppression of the unit corresponds to the valid directive.
The display value may be influenced by extreme electro-magnetic interference, e.g. operation of a
radio unit or a mobile phone in the immediate vicinity of the unit. When the electrostable interference
is no longer present. The unit again be used for its intended purpose. You may need to switch it on again.
If there is permanent electrostable interference, we recommend earthing the platform.
The unit is a measuring instrument. Air currents, vibrations, rapit changes in temperature and direct
sunlight may have an effect on the accuracy of the scale. The scale is potected to IP 54 protection class.
Therefore, avoid high levels of humidity, vapours, agressive liquid media and strong contamination.
