Blocking Element SLIM-LOCK

General
The motor-driven blocking element prevents
access to the armed zone of an intrusion detec-
tion system (IDS).
The motor, gears and locking bolts are installed in
the minute space of a cylinder. It is thus possible to
use the blocking element universally for many
other applications, e.g. for locking furniture, glass
showcases, windows etc.

Function
Actuation is via the IK3 evaluation unit or via the
autonomous control unit.
The end bolt positions "Open" and "Closed" are
monitored. If unauthorized counterpressure is
placed on the bolt or the bolt jams, the control unit
attempts to solve the problem independently. If it
does not succeed, actuation is interrupted
followed by a fault signal.
