POWER SUPPLY
The power of the transport case with integrated multi-charger is supplied via mains voltage.
Connect the case to the mains with the enclosed power supply cable. Do not connect it to a dimming pack.
The occupation of the connection cables is as follows:
Cable
Brown
Blue
Yellow/Green Earth
The earth has to be connected!
If the device will be directly connected with the local power supply network, a disconnection switch with a
minimum opening of 3 mm at every pole has to be included in the permanent electrical installation.
The device must only be connected with an electric installation carried out in compliance with the IEC
standards. The electric installation must be equipped with a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a maximum
fault current of 30 mA.
Prior to operating the LED uplights off mains for the first time, the rechargeable battery must be fully
charged. The operating time of the battery depends on the operating mode and the ambient temperature
(max. 17 hours). After the operation, switch the device off.

Charging Batteries
The transport case with integrated multi-charger allows for easy charging of up to six EUROLITE LED
uplights of the AKKU series (item 41700565). Put the fixtures with their charging socket downwards into the
transport case. Be sure that the folding foot is closed completely before inserting into the case. Connect the
case to a power outlet via the enclosed power cable. The charge indicator on the LED uplight turns red while
charging. Then it turns green when it's done charging. Charging time is 5 hours.
Do not operate the LED uplights during the charging procedure.
1. Only charge LED uplights while they are powered off (power switch set to Off).
2. The transport case must be open while charging.
3. Do not charge batteries outdoors.
4. The fixtures feature a protective circuit for charging which prevents overload of the rechargeable
battery. However, disconnect the charger from the mains after charging. Otherwise there will be a low
current consumption.
5. The fixtures will heat up during charging; this is normal.
6. To prevent damage to a battery by deep discharge, recharge a battery completely discharged as soon
as possible. Do not store a fixture with the battery completely discharged and regularly recharge the
battery in case of long storage.
Battery status
The display indicates the battery charging status by bars (see graphic). If all bars are displayed, the battery
is fully loaded. If no bar is displayed, the battery is going flat. In this state, the device can be operated for a
few minutes. Then an emergency switch-off deactivates the device to protect it from total discharge.
