Charging an iPhone or iPod
When the charger unit is fully charged, you can use it as a battery
pack to charge your iPhone/iPod independently of an external
power supply (Figure 3). Press the button to begin charging.
Depending on the extent to which your iPhone/iPod has dis-
charged, it may take a while before it can be switched on again.
You can use the battery gauge to check the charging status of the
battery at any time. To do this, press the button (Figure 4).
Synchronisation (with iTunes, etc.)
If your iPhone/iPod is connected to a computer via the charger,
you can also sync your data. For details, please refer to your
iPhone/iPod user manual.
Enhancing your charger performance
•
Charge the product before using it for the first time. The
integrated battery will only reach full capacity after repeated
charging and discharging.
•
Do not leave the product plugged in to the power supply or
another USB power source if it is not in use for an extended
period.
•
Do not store the product for an extended period in a fully
charged or discharged state. The residual storage capacity
should be around 60% (two lights on the charging indicator).
•
Recharge the product after 90 days at the latest.
