Smart device application
for the fireplace controller
The application screen will allow you to monitor the progress of heat
capacity and the numerical data from the fireplace: heat capacity as a
percentage of the optimum maximum level, room temperature, heat
capacity temperature of the firebox and heat-retaining material, flue
draught and estimated momentary heat output. The application helps
you heat wood sparingly by telling you when to add fuel and when
to finish burning wood. The application also notifies you of any error
situations.
In addition, the application collects a measurement history of
average readings from the 10 previous loads, which you can monitor
if you wish. In the settings, you can change the type of wood used and
adjust the controller manually and change notifications. By pressing
or by swiping the active symbols of the application sideways you can
change the settings or move from one place to another.
INSTALLING THE SMART DEVICE APPLICATION
The functioning of the fireplace is monitored and adjusted using a
fireplace controller app installed on a mobile phone. The app works on
iOS and Android devices and is connected to the fireplace controller
through Bluetooth technology. Download the app from the App Store
or Play store.

After downloading the app, switch on the Bluetooth connection of
your mobile phone and open the app. If the Bluetooth connection is
off, the app will ask you to switch it on. Next, the app will check for

any existing Senso fireplace controllers and ask you to connect to the
selected device with Bluetooth.
The app will ask you to enter a numerical coupling string, which is
000000. The device is now connected to the app. Then the app will
ask for the type of fuel to be used. Select the correct fuel type in the
app. You can change the fuel type to another later on if necessary.
ALWAYS REMEMBER to choose pellet as the fuel type when
using them. NEVER ADD PELLETS TO A HOT FIREPLACE, even
if the application suggests you do so in some circumstances.
