The Tulikivi Senso controller designed for fireplaces in Tulikivi's
Karelia collection has been integrated into the air circulation
system of the fireplace. The fireplace controller bases its
functioning on the temperature measured from the fire place
and door switch and the temperature information on the room
and heat-retaining material, i.e. the so-called heat capacity
information. The fireplace controller adjusts the amount of
air going into the firebox and notifies the user of the need for
additional fuel and informs when optimal heat capacity has been
achieved.
The controller consists of the control unit and motor enclosed
in the structure of the product, the power supply, the necessary

sensors (Figure 1) and a smart device application used for heat
monitoring and adjustment. An integrated LED display is also
available as an accessory.
Instructions for heating the fireplace without
automatic control and the amount wood used for
heating are provided in the operating manual which
comes together with the fireplace. Read it carefully before
starting to use the fireplace and the Senso fireplace controller.
The fireplace operating manual includes information on the
standard sizes of loads of wood and pellets as well as guidance
for lighting the fire.
