4. If you have a tilt/swivel base, install it on the display. To do this, follow
these steps:
a. Lay the display on its top.
b. Insert the two front corners of the base into the two slots at the front
underside of the display.
c. Find the black plastic plug at the rear of the base. Make sure it's
popped up.
d. Swing the base against the bottom of the display. The plastic plug on
the base should line up with the hole in the underside of the display.
e. Press in the plastic plug until it snaps fully into place. Check that the
base is flat against the bottom of the display. The sloping face of the
stand should be toward the front.
5. Place the display on a fiat, sturdy surface.
6. Connect the plug on the display's built-in video cable to the nine-pin video
connector at the back of the computer. (If you're not sure which slot
contains the video connector, look on the Controller Checklist sheet under
"Configuration" for the Video Graphics Adapter.)
