Problems during Installation
Refer to this section only if you have problems during the installation process.
Starting Over
If you feel you've made a mistake during the installation procedure and want to
start the setup program over, do the following:
1. Find these two disks:
• MS-DOS "Startup/Operation" disk .
• "HP PC-300 Installation Disk."
2. Insert the MS-DOS "Startup/Operation" disk into drive A: (the upper
drive ).
3. Hold down
@)
and
@
and press
@ill.
Press
(Enter)
when asked to set time
and date. Wait for the prompt
A>.
4. When the MS-DOS prompt
A>
appears, remove the MS-DOS disk and insert
the PC-300 Installation Disk.
S. Type
preset
(Enter)
The program finishes in a few seconds.
6. Hold down
(Ctrl)
and
@
and press
@ill.
You may now begin the installation process again. Go back to "Starting the
System with the Installation Disk."
