Adding HP BASIC to the PAM Menu
You can start HP BASIC directly from the PAM menu by adding HP BASIC
to the menu. (The MS-DOS manuals contain detailed information about
adding applications to PAM and about the File Manager.)
1.
In the main PAM menu, press

("Manage Applics").
2. Use the "Add" option to add an "unlisted" application:
• Specify the path (directory) that you used when you installed HP BASIC
earlier (c:\blp if you didn't change the path in the setup program).
• Specify a PAM menu title such as
HP BASIC.
• Specify basic as the command to run HP BASIC.
• Save the addition.
3. If you want PAM to start HP BASIC whenever you turn on the controller,
return to the first "Manage" menu, then use the "Auto Start" option to
specify HP BASIC.
4. Exit from' the program.
