Installing Application Software
If you have application software that you'll be using, you should refer to the
manuals that came with the applications to find out how to install (copy) them
onto the hard disk. You should consider placing the applications in separate
subdirectories on the hard disk. Subdirectories are explained in the MS-DOS
manuals.
Note
You have already installed MS-DOS and HP BASIC. Store
the disks in a safe place with the MS-DOS and HP BASIC
manuals.
Once you have installed your application programs, you're ready to use them.
Working with the System
Congratulations! You've reached the end of the setup procedure. You're ready
to use your HP BASIC Controller.
Starting HP BASIC
If you added HP BASIC to your main PAM menu, you can start HP BASIC
by moving the highlight to HP BASIC using the arrow keys, then pressing
@)
("Start Applic").
If HP BASIC isn't in your PAM menu, start HP BASIC by typing
cd c: \blp

If you changed the BASIC path during the setup program,
use that path instead.

Stopping HP BASIC
To stop HP BASIC and return to PAM, hold
(Ctrl)
and press
(FlO).
