8.5 Serial Numbers

All Ex-proof switching devices and Ex-I
switching devices and their respective
protective covers are marked with a
model number and a serial number.
When mounting, it is important that the
protective covers not be mixed up.
IMPORTANT
When mounting and operating Ex-proof
switching devices, all recognized rules
and guidelines for installation in Ex-areas
must be observed.
The Ex-cable gland (4) is approved only
for fixed installation.
