Connections and sample connections

The connections are on the side of the appliance. The cables described in the connection options are not
included in the scope of supply.

Connection options
Connect the antenna here (analogue or
digital).
Connect headphones here, with a 3.5-mm
jack, to use them to listen to the sound
produced by the appliance. The main
speaker remains switched on.
Using the headphones for
long periods at high volume
can damage your hearing.
Audio input for 3.5 mm stereo jack plug, e.g.
for PCs.
AUDIO input L – R (white/red): Connect the
left and right audio channels to the source of
the sound that you want to send to the LCD
TV (e.g. camcorder).
You will need a cinch cable to do this.
VIDEO input (yellow) for connecting devices
like camcorders, DVD players, decoders (e.g.
satellite receivers), etc.
You will need a cinch cable for this
connection.
You will also need to connect a stereo cinch
cable (red and white jack) to the AUDIO IN
socket to transmit an audio signal.
Y Pb Pr: Component inputs for connecting
devices with component outputs, e.g.
camcorders, DVD players, decoders (e.g.
satellite receivers), etc. You will need a
component cable green/blue/red for this
socket for the video connection as well as a
cinch cable red/white for the AUDIO IN L – R
connection.
S-VHS input (S-VIDEO) for connecting a
device with an S-VIDEO output (e.g.
camcorder).
You will need an S-VIDEO cable for this
connection.
You will also need to connect a stereo cinch
cable (red and white jack) to the AUDIO IN
socket to transmit an audio signal.
SCART socket for connecting devices like
video recorders, DVD players, gaming
consoles, decoders (e.g. satellite receivers),
etc.
You will need a SCART cable for this
connection.
