Connecting the aerial


To link up to the house aerial or cable system, connect a double shielded aerial
cable from the aerial socket to the LCD TV.

DVB-T mode

If your location offers DVB-T, you can receive this by using the corresponding aerial.
An additional receiver to receive DVB-T programmes is not required.
Important!
In order to receive encrypted/pay TV channels, you will need the
corresponding card. Insert a CAM module (available in specialist shops) in the
designated slot on the left-hand side of the device (Common Interface).
Then insert the card of your provider into the CAM module. If you plan to do
this, please read the instructions on page 27.

Connecting the DVB-T aerial


Insert the plug of a DVB-T aerial in the aerial socket of the device.

Connecting the power supply


Plug the mains plug into a readily accessible 100-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz mains socket.

Switching the LCD TV on and off


Set the mains switch to "I" to supply the LCD TV with power. The device switches
to standby mode and the indicator on the front will light up orange.

To switch on the device, press either the STANDBY button
control or on the device. The indicator on the front will light up blue.

Press the STANDBY button
device will continue to draw power in this mode.

Use the mains switch at the back of the device to switch it off completely.
