Application and function
The DALI SENSOR LS/PD LI UF G2 Sensor measures bright-
ness (2: Light sensor and indication LED) reflected by a refer-
ence surface below (e.g. a working desk) and detects motions
from persons or other objects with heat dissipation (1: Presence
and motion detector). Brightness and motion information is
transmitted to the connected DALI-2 control unit. The inte-
grated green LED indicates detected motion. The integrated
button (3) executes two different functions depending on the
duration of activation:
1. Test of the DALI connection by a short press to the sensor
button: First short press – red LED on, next short press (or
wait for 30s) – red LED off.
2. Reset the sensor by a press to the button for > 10s: The
red LED flickers for approx. 5s, sensor addresses are de-
leted and the sensor is set back to the ex-factory settings.
For backward compatibility, the sensor can be switched to
the manufacturer-specific OSRAM DALI mode by a software
command.

Le capteur DALI SENSOR LS/PD LI UF G2 mesure la lumino-
sité (2 : capteur de luminosité et LED témoin) reflétée par une
surface de référence située dessous (par ex. un bureau) et
détecte les mouvements des personnes ou d'autres objets
avec la dissipation de chaleur (1 : détecteur de présence et
de mouvement). Les informations de luminosité et de mouve-
ment sont transmises au contrôleur DALI-2 connecté. La LED
verte intégrée indique qu'un mouvement a été détecté. Le
bouton intégré (3) présente deux fonctions différentes suivant
la durée de l'activation :
1. Test de la connexion DALI par un appui bref sur le bouton
du capteur, avec : premier appui bref LED –rouge allumée,
appui bref suivant (ou attendez 30 s) LED –rouge éteinte.
2. Réinitialisez le capteur en appuyant sur le bouton pendant
plus de 10 s : la LED rouge clignote pendant environ 5 s,
les adresses du capteur sont effacées et le capteur est
réinitialisé suivant les réglages d'usine.
Une commande logicielle permet de régler le capteur sur le
mode OSRAM DALI spécifique au fabricant à des fins de rétro-
compatibilité.

Anwendung und Funktion
Der DALI SENSOR LS/PD LI UF G2 misst die Helligkeit (2:
Lichtsensor und Anzeige LED) einer unterhalb des Sensors
befindlichen Referenzoberfläche (z. B. eine Arbeitstischplatte)
und erfasst Bewegungen von Personen oder Objekten mit
Wärmeabstrahlung (1: Präsenz und Bewegungssensor). Die
Helligkeits- und Bewegungsinformationen werden an das
angeschlossene DALI-2-Steuergerät übertragen. Erkannte
Bewegung wird durch Aufblinken der grünen Sensor-LED
angezeigt. Die integrierte Taste (3) führt abhängig von der
Betätigungsdauer zwei verschiedene Funktionen aus:
1. Test der DALI Verbindung durch kurze Betätigung des Sen-
sor-Tasters: Erster Tastendruck - rote LED an, nächster
Tastendruck (oder 30s warten) - rote LED aus.
2. Reset des Sensors durch Tasterbetätigung >10s: rote LED
flickert für ca. 5 s, die Sensoradressen werden gelöscht und
der Sensor wird auf Werkseinstellung zurückgesetzt.
Zur Gewährleistung der Rückwärtskompatibilität, lässt sich
der Sensor mittels Softwarekommando in den herstellerspe-
zifischen OSRAM DALI Modus umschalten.

Il sensore DALI SENSOR LS/PD LI UF G2 misura la luminosi-
tà (2: sensore luce e il LED indicatore) riflessa dalla superficie
di riferimento seguente (ad es. scrivania di lavoro) e rileva i
movimenti delle persone o altri oggetti con dissipazione del
calore (1: Rilevamento di presenza e movimento). Informazio-
ni sulla luminosità e sul movimento sono trasmesse all'unità
di controllo DALI-2 collegata. Il LED verde integrato indica un
movimento rilevato. Il pulsante integrato (3) esegue due diver-
se funzioni in base alla durata dell'attivazione:
1. Testare il collegamento DALI mediante una breve pressione
del pulsante del sensore: Prima pressione breve LED rosso
acceso, successiva pressione breve (o attendere 30s) LED
rosso spento.
2. Reimpostare il sensore premendo il pulsante per > 10s: Il
LED rosso sfarfalla per circa 5s, gli indirizzi del sensore sono
cancellati e il sensore viene riportato alle impostazioni di
fabbrica.
Per assicurare la retrocompatibilità, il sensore può essere
commutato nella modalità OSRAM DALI specifica del produt-
tore tramite un comando software.
