– Afterwards, fit the rubber cap (9) onto the screwdriver again.
Changing the blade (see figures D1–D2)
Note: Replace the blade only when the cutting adapter is fitted to the screw-
driver. This ensures that the tool spindle is locked and the blade screw can
be loosened.
– Set the rotational direction switch (5) to the middle position.
– Loosen the screw for securing the blade (7) in rotational direction ➊.
– Lift the blade (8) slightly and pull it down and out.
– Place the blade on the tool holder with the ground edge facing outwards.
Ensure that the blade clicks into place in the tool holder.
– Retighten the screw for securing the blade (7) in rotational direction ➋.

Setting the Rotational Direction
IXO (3 603 JA8 0.., 3 603 JC7 0.., 3 603 JC7 1..) (see figures D1–D2)
– To set the screwdriver to clockwise rotation, slide the rotational direction
switch (5) all the way forward.
IXO (3 603 J81 0.., 3 603 J59 3..) (see figure D3)
– To set the screwdriver to clockwise rotation, press the rotational direc-
tion switch (5) all the way in from the right.
Switching On and Off
– To start the cutting adapter, press and hold the on/off switch (6) of the
screwdriver.
– To switch off the cutting adapter, release the on/off switch (6) of the
screwdriver.
Working Advice
Do not load the power tool so heavily that it comes to a stop.

The cutting performance of the power tool depends on the thickness of the
material to be cut and the state of charge of the battery.
Excessive feed significantly reduces the performance of the power tool ac-
cording to the battery charge.
