Potentially, the bolts (Torx 25) at the side of the front light mounting bracket
need to be loosened a bit to adjust the light beam (Figure 15). After a
successful adjustment the bolts must be tightened with a torque of 3 Nm.

3.7.1. Schindelhauer aluminium front rack

The Schindelhauer Aluminium front rack incl. fasteners is supplied with
Heinrich and Hannah and can be retrofitted to Oskar.
The rack is bolt on to the headtube with 4 bolts (M8x18 TX40) and 4 spacers.
1.
Remove the two bolt-on covers at the side of the headtube (Torx 10).
2.
Press the 4 spacers into the recesses at the side of the headtube
(Figure 16). Apply a bit of assembly paste to keep the spacers from
falling off the headtube.
3.
Carefully position the front rack on the headtube and align the
mounting brackets with the threads and spacers at the side of the
headtube. Start with the two lower bolts and proceed with the two
upper ones (Figure 17).
4.
Finish the installation by evenly tightening all 4 bolts to a torque of 15
Nm (Figure 18).
Disassembly works in reverse order.
Additional important tips and safety instructions for the use of the front rack
and handling of the included VarioStraps can be found in chapter 5.6, page
79.
The front rack has a load capacity of max. 15 kg. Never
transport a person on the front rack! Danger of accident!
The mounts at the side of the headtube were especially
developed for the Schindelhauer aluminium front rack. No
other front rack is permitted!
