2.2 Getting started

You must carry out the following steps before using the headset with a mobile phone or other device for the
first time:
• Use the appropriate Anycom charger to charge the headset (approximately 2.5 hours),

We will now look at these steps in more detail.

2.4 Charging the headset

A rechargeable battery is supplied with the headset. Please note that a new battery will not have the full
battery capacity. Before you use the battery for the first time, plug the charger into the appropriate socket on
the handset and charge it until the red LED indicator goes out.
Charger
Use only the Anycom travel charger supplied.

2.5 Pairing the headset

Bluetooth PIN code
The Bluetooth pin code is required to check and authorise the connection between two Bluetooth devices.
This should prevent access to unauthorised Bluetooth components. The process of establishing a connection
between two Bluetooth components at the start of the communication is called "pairing".
If you are using the headset with a mobile phone or other Bluetooth-compatible device, the device will usually
prompt you to enter the PIN code during pairing. Every Anycom Bluetooth headset has a default PIN code
[0000] which is stored in the internal memory.
Refer also to the operating instructions for the device to be paired for this special part of the set-up.
