•
Make sure the recording switch [14] is in the OFF position (down).
•
Press and hold the power ON/OFF button [16] for ±3s to switch the voice
recorder on. To switch it off, press and hold the power ON/OFF button [16]
again for ±2s.
•
The voice recorder starts up in voice standby mode [j] and shows the date, time
and available recording time for the current recording type.
Note: after 5 minutes of inactivity in standby mode, the device automatically
switches off to save battery power.
•
Press and hold the menu button [9] to enter the setup menu. The current menu
is shown on the display [t, u, v, w, y, z].
•
To go to the next menu entry, press the next button [11].
•
To open the menu item, press the OK button [8]. To change the setting, press
the '+' [6] or '-' button [12]. Press the OK button [8] again to save the current
setting. To exit the setup menu, press the STOP button [10] or wait a few
seconds.
•
Refer to the table below for the menu structure. The '#' indicates the number of
presses on the next button [11]:

detected and pauses when sound level drops below minimum
