Pressure-related precaution: Never remove the oxygen regulator without firstly
closing the bottle valve and bleeding the hoses by opening the welding torch valve.
Never attempt to remove the valve on the OXYPOWER® CV60 or CV220
oxygen bottle
Work clothing:
Wear special welding goggles (supplied with the equipment) to protect your
eyes against projections and radiation.
Never wear Nylon or synthetic work clothes. You may use welding gloves to
prevent your hands from burning.
Work place:
Work in a well-ventilated area. Working with metal causes sparks, drops of hot
metal and slag. Take all necessary precautions against the risk of fire (extin-
guishing methods) and burning (keep your face a certain distance from the
welding torch, wear goggles, etc.)
Transport and storage:
To transport the equipment in a vehicle: close the valve on the oxygen bottle,
remove the oxygen regulator, close the gas valve and wedge the case, prefe-
rably vertically.
When you are not using your OXYPOWER®, store it in a well-ventilated area,
away from all heat sources. Do not leave it in full sun. Do not leave it within
reach of children.
Only the use the gas bottle when vertical.
If a leak occurs, close the valves on the oxygen and gas bottles.
Use soapy water to find the leak and always work away from any flame and in
a well-ventilated area, preferably outside.
Never use equipment showing signs of leaking.
