Start:
The power supply of the device can be adjusted by means of mains voltage and the built-in
rechargeable battery.
1. mains operation
Connect the supplied power cord and plug the power plug into a grounded grounded
outlet. Turn on the power switch. The unit is now switched on.
To switch off the device, switch off the device at the power switch and unplug the
power cord from the wall outlet.
Do not connect the device to the mains voltage via a dimmer. Use a switchable power
socket for greater ease of use.
Other devices can be supplied with power via the power supply output on the back of
the device. To interconnect the devices, always connect the power supply output to the
input of the power supply of the next device until all devices are connected. This way,
up to 20 devices can be connected together. Matching power cords are available as an
option.
2. battery operation
Before the device can be operated for the first time, the built-in battery must be
completely recharged.
To charge the battery, connect the unit to a wall outlet using the supplied power cord.
The charging time is 6 to 7 hours. The unit can continue to be operated during
charging. When the battery is fully charged, all four LEDs on the back of the unit light
up green.
Thanks to the integrated charging protection, the battery cannot be overcharged.
Nevertheless, disconnect the device from the mains after charging.
The device warms up during charging; this is a normal process.
Charge a completely discharged battery as soon as possible to prevent damage to the
battery from deep discharge. Do not store the device with the battery completely
discharged and recharge it regularly if it is stored for a long time.
To use the battery operation, switch on the battery operation on the back of the device.
The battery operating time depends on the operating mode and the ambient
temperature (maximum 5 hours). Battery operation is turned off by the switch on the
back of the unit.
