Terrace heater
Read the user manual carefully to make sure that the product is assembled, used and
maintained correctly, as described in the instructions in this user manual. Keep the user
manual for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• If you have any technical problems with the terrace heater, contact
our Customer Services.
• Due to the risk of fire, do not fit or place the terrace heater close to
flam mable objects, such as curtains. Make sure that no combustible
mate rial – such as curtains, tents, flags, cling film, etc. – covers
or interferes with the appliance as a result of wind or other
environmental effects.
• The terrace heater is intended for household and outdoor use only.
• Pay particular attention when using the terrace heater close to children.
• Do not leave the terrace heater unsupervised when it is switched on.
• Always pull the plug out of the socket when the terrace heater is not in use.
• Do not use the terrace heater if the plug or the electric cable is
damaged or if the terrace heater is not working correctly.
• If the terrace heater is to be used outdoors, it should be placed under a
roof and only used during dry weather. The terrace heater should not be
left unattended. It must be connected to an earthed electric socket.
• Extra protection is recommended by installing a ground fault circuit
interrupter.
• Do not use the terrace heater right next to bathrooms, showers or
swimming pools. The terrace heater may not come into contact with
water or any other liquid.
• Switch the terrace heater off before unplugging it. Do not pull on the
electric cord.
