Mounting and Connection Instructions
A bore of 4 -6 mm is required
for the cable bushing.
Fasten the sensor element
using the supplied screws. Do
not tighten the screws too tight
in order to avoid damage to
the housing.
For production reasons, it
may happen that the casting
compound is slightly elevated
at the cable outlet. Counter-
sink the bore if required.
If for constructional reasons the
distance between the frame and the
leaf is not wide enough, the sensor
and/or transmission unit can be
embedded.
To do so, make a recess as shown
in the illustration A) or B).
With regard to the depth, make
sure that the transmission distance
" a" is within the specified limits
(2 mm to 5 mm, the maximum
range of 10 mm should not be used
if possible).

After successful completion of the functional check, the screw openings of the
transmission unit must be covered by means of the supplied VdS sealing stickers!
