General warranty conditions of Coboc GmbH & Co. KG for
consumers / end customers (hereinafter "customer")
For years of durability and continuous riding pleasure, please follow the
instructions in the user manual. Adherence to these instructions is a prere-
quisite for receiving the warranty and guarantee conditions listed below. In
addition, online registration at www.coboc.biz/en/warranty within 14 days
of purchasing the bike is a prerequisite for receiving the manufacturer's
warranty listed below.
Claims for defects against the contractual partner of Coboc GmbH & Co.
KG remain unaffected.
Furthermore, Coboc GmbH & Co. KG assures the customer within the sco-
pe of the manufacturer's warranty that the following components are fully
functional within the specified periods from the date of purchase:
Coboc - frame
Motor and motor control
Battery pack (defective with
capacity loss > 40%)
Battery charger
The Coboc GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right, within the framework of
a warranty or guarantee service, to supply or install other, but equivalent
goods when components are replaced. For used goods, Coboc GmbH &
Co. KG reserves the right to supply or install parts corresponding to the
age of the replaced part.

The term of the warranty claims begins with the date of purchase or with
the handover to the customer. The performance of warranty services by
Coboc GmbH & Co. KG means neither an extension nor a restart of the
warranty period. The warranty is only valid for the first owner in conjuncti-
on with the original proof of purchase.
To claim warranty rights, the affected product must be returned to a
qualified Coboc trading partner or to Coboc (Heidelberg, Germany). The
customer bears the costs of transport.
In case of structural changes to the components of the drive system instal-
led in the frame as well as to the motor and in case of interventions in the
software, all warranty obligations on the part of Coboc GmbH & Co. KG
shall expire. This does not apply to the exchange of parts under warranty
or software updates with the original Coboc firmware at qualified Coboc
trading partners.
This warranty does not apply to exhibits, test bikes, products that have
already been used or similarly claimed by the customer before purchase.
We do not accept any guarantee for defects resulting from incorrect
storage. In particular, we would like to point out that the charge level of
the lithium-ion batteries in our e-bikes must be checked regularly and
the batteries must be recharged if necessary. Details can be found in the
operating instructions.
