Gear shift

Your TEN Torino has a built-in SRAM Apex1 11-gear shift. The shift lever (1)
is positioned behind the right brake lever and is connected to the derail-
leur installed on the rear wheel.
Both gear shifts (higher or lower) are carried out by pushing the lever
inside. The lever returns into its starting position after successfully shifting.
Make sure to keep pedaling, while gear shifting in order to successfully
carry it out. Do not tread into the pedals backwards during a gear switch
as this may cause damage to the gear shift.
Reduce pressure on the pedals during gear shift. That way you can switch
between gears fast and smooth, while also reducing wear on chain and
sprocket.
Shifting gears at maximum weight may lead to chain tear. Serious
accidents and injuries can be the result.
Shifting to a higher gear
In order to switch to a higher gear you need to push lever (1) inside only
slightly until it clicks. Successively, the chain is being put on a smaller
sprocket by the derailleur. To switch up several gears push the lever for
several times in a row (clicking every time you successfully shift).
Shifting to a lower gear
In order to switch to a lower gear you need to push lever (1) further inside
until you hear a second click. Successively, the chain is being put on a
bigger sprocket by the derailleur. To switch several gears at a time keep
pushing the lever until it clicks repeatedly. You can switch down a maxi-
mum of three gears at once.

Your Coboc bike is equipped with a modern lithium-ion battery. This type
of battery offers the best state-of-the-art energy density, which means
maximum reach at minimum weight. Furthermore, lithium-ion batteries
have no memory effect. This battery has a nominal voltage of 36 volts and
a nominal capacity of 380 Wh.
