8 Manual configuration (without PC-Tool)
Notes: The drives are configured as single
drives (default).
With simple means an automatic basic configuration without
PC tool is possible. This can be done with the help of a
jumper and a 24 V power supply:
a) to teach the zero positions (= wing closed),
b) to limit the stroke length.
(1) If there are several drives on one wing, connect them
electrically with the connection cable.
(2) Plug the power cable into a drive and connect the white
and brown wire to a polarity reversing power supply.
Operating voltage 24 V DC.
(3) Switch on the voltage in OPEN direction.
- The drives start to extend the chain.
(4) Connect the green and white wires of the power cable
with a jumper.
- The drives stop.
- Then the drives drive slowly in the direction "CLOSE"
until the wing is closed.
This position is saved as zero position.
- Then the drives move slowly in the direction of "OPEN".
(5) When reaching the desired stroke length, connect the
green and white wires again. (If you do that not, the drives
will run to the maximum stroke length.)
- The drives stop, save this position as a new stroke length
and move slowly in the direction "CLOSE" until reaching
the zero position and then switch off.
(6) The drives are now configured.
