Inserting the batteries

Open the battery cover (15) and insert
two 1.5 V AAA batteries in the battery
compartment. Check that the batteries are
correctly � tted. Replace the battery cover.
If the laser becomes weak or unclear, the
batteries need replacing.
Remove the batteries if the laser spirit level
will not be used for a prolonged period so
that they do not leak battery � uid.
Use
Switch on the horizontal and/or vertical laser
beam using the buttons (1, 2) depending on
the job in hand.
Change between laser dot and laser line
using the switch (3).
The laser produces a line or a cross.
The reach depends on the light conditions in
the workplace – the more light, the shorter
the visible reach.
Using the laser lines, you can mark mounting
lines on walls and similar. See � gures 1-3.

mounting point on walls and similar. See

You can also use the spirit level as a set
square by resting its right side � at against the
work piece. See � gures 6-8.
On the vials (8, 9) you can see if the work
object is level or vertical. On the vial (10) you
can see if an angle is precisely 45°.
By unfolding the stand (13) and/or turning
the adjustment button (7), you can adjust the
spirit level so that it is horizontal against the
� at surface it rests on. See � gure 9.
Pull the tape measure (12) out and lock in
the required position using the lock button
(11), if necessary. Release the lock button to
retract the tape measure. See � gure 5.

Cleaning and maintenance

Regularly wipe the spirit level with a well-
wrung cloth containing a small amount of
household detergent, if necessary.
Wipe the laser lenses with a soft brush. Make
sure not to scratch them.
Keep the spirit level out of the reach of
children.
