MAINTENANCE

6.1 Winterizing (Electrolisys)
Below a water temperature of 15°C, the chemical conditions of the water will result in premature
wear of the chlorinator cell. It is important to switch off the electrolisys process during winter.
Therefore stop the device.
If the cell is not turned on, it will not get damaged if you leave it on the tubing. At water temperatu-
res below 15°C make a manual chemical treatment without stabilizer.
During winter make sure no water are caught in the tube, as this may damage the cell.
At start up switch the device on again by pressing any key. If the free chloride level is lower than 1
particle by million, run a shock chlorination and follow the start-up procedure (check the water para-
meters, the rate of salt, state of the cell, of the chlorine production percentage). Damages linked to
non-compliance with these instructions will cancel the warranty.
6.2

Cleaning of the cell

Self-cleaning avoids the limestone deposits in the
cell. However, if the cell is nevertheless calcified,
proceed to a manual cleaning:
Turn off filtration, remove the cell and check deposit
presence on the electrodes.
To remove the deposits on the cell, use a special cell cleaner or contact your local retailer:
Rinse the cell and then reassemble it. If necessary, recalibrate your inversion frequency.
The lifespan of the cell is very closely linked to the respect for the instructions indicated in this user
manual). We recommended only using original cells. The use of "compatible" cells can entail a re-
duction in the production and reduce the life cycle of the device. A deterioration linked to the use of
a compatible cell cancels the contractual warranty.
