Frequent use algaecide products with high copper contents, can
o
produce the deposition on the electrodes of this metal, progressively
damaging the coating. Remember chlorine is the best algaecide.
For a suitable pH control, we recommend using an automatic pH-controller of
our Catalogue (reference RPH-101), or another similar device.
6.3. SALT REPOSITION / ELECTRODE REPLACEMENT
If after doing the salinity test described in section 5.4, it is necessary to add salt
to the pool, and we have not an analytical device for salinity measurement, we
can use the production level reached during the salinity test to calculate the
amount of salt to add, whenever the electrodes are in good state.

The type of common salt (NaCl) recommended for salt electrolysis systems
must not have any additive (iodides, etc.) and must be apt for human
consumption.
