3.- SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

Salt electrolysis system consists of two elements: an electrolysis cell and a
power supply. The cell body is constructed of a transparent methacrylate-based
polymer (max. operating temperature is 40ºC). The necessary on the
electrolysis processes (water treatment) are placed inside the cell. The power
supply is provided with diverse safety devices which are activated in case of
anomalous operation of the system, as well as a microprocessor driven control
system.
Salt electrolysis systems have an automatic cleaning system that avoids scale
formation on the electrodes.
