10.4 Conversion of the valve zone

The symbols for the valve zone components are explained in "10.2 Valve zone" on page 59.
Impermissible, non-compliant expansion!
Any expansions or reductions not described in these instructions interfere with the basic
configuration settings. This will prevent a reliable system configuration.
Observe the rules for the expansion of the valve zone.
Observe the specifications of the system owner as well as any restrictions resulting from the
overall system.
You may use the following components for the expansion or conversion of the system:
Multipole board with the corresponding base plates
Bridge cards with pneumatic supply plates
AVENTICS | AV03/05 with IO-Link | R412018145–BAL–001–AC
