6. Keep all packaging materials out of reach
of children.
7. Before connecting the equipment, ensure
that the rated voltage corresponds to the
mains' voltage supply. The voltage rating
plate is located underneath the equipment.
8. Connect the appliance to a mains socket
that is easily accessible only by an adult.
9. Do not place the appliance on delicate
surfaces, or surfaces that may be sensitive to
heat, water and humidity.
10. Only place the appliance on flat, rigid,
stable surfaces out of reach of children.
11. Do not place the appliance on soft and/or
uneven surfaces.
12. WARNING: Do not obstruct
the steam nozzle with cloths, objects or
your hands, as the temperature of the steam
released could cause scorching or burns.
13. Always be careful when using this
appliance as it releases boiling hot steam.
14. Do not direct the steam nozzle towards
people, furniture, curtains, walls, electrical
appliances or objects that may be sensitive
to heat, water and/or humidity.
15. Fill the tank (3) with cold drinking water only.
16. Never add any aromatic substances
or oils to the water contained in the tank.
17. Carefully pour the essences or balsamic
or aromatic oils into the essence container,
making sure the liquid never comes into
contact with the external surfaces of the
tank or drips inside the device through the
dispenser nozzle or the inlet used to refill
the tank (7). ATTENTION. In this case, hot
water may spill out causing severe scorching
or burns.
18. Pay attention never to pour essence
or balsamic/aromatic oils into the essence
container (6) when the appliance is switched
ON as the temperature of the dispensed
steam could cause severe scorching or burns.
Please be very careful.
19. WARNING: When the resistor (10)
comes into contact with the water, it reaches
very hot temperatures and should not be
touched until the appliance has cooled
down.
20. When cleaning or drying the
appliance, wait for the resistor (10) to cool
down and disconnect the plug from the mains
socket before commencing any operations
that cause the user to come into contact
with the same: Always pay careful attention
as the resistor reaches a temperature that
can cause serious burns.
21. Always disconnect the power cable plug
from the mains socket when the appliance is
not in use or left unattended.
22. The power cable (11) must only be
replaced with another power cable of the
same type by expert technicians or at any
authorised The distributor Artsana S.p.A.
dealer.
23. Before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance operations, always disconnect
the power cable plug (11) from the mains
socket.
24. Do not move, lift or incline the humidifier or
carry out cleaning or maintenance operations
when the appliance is operating or is connected
to the mains socket or is still hot.
25. Do not use accessories, spare parts, or
any component not supplied or approved by
the distributor.
26. In case of repairs, only contact a qualified
technician or one of The distributor Artsana
S.p.A.'s authorised service centres.
27. When using any electrical appliance, it
is necessary to follow some basic safety
regulations:
Never touch the appliance with wet or
damp hands.
Do not pull the power cable (11) or tug at
the appliance to unplug it from the mains.
Do not leave the appliance exposed to
atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.).
Keep the appliance and power cable away
from heat sources.
