Seat Cushion Replacement - 4-Star Base
1.
Position the chair as shown. Remove the base by hitting the bottom
of the cylinder with a hammer while pulling forward on the chair base.
Set base aside.

Using a T-25 Torx driver, remove ten (10) screws securing the outer
seat cover to seat cushion and remove the outer cover.
3.
Using a T-30 Torx driver, remove the four (4) screws securing the
seat cushion to the seat mounting plate and remove the seat cushion.
4.
Install the new seat cushion onto the seat mounting plate and insert
the four (4) new screws provided. Tighten all (4) screws to 45 in-lbs (5 Nm).
5.
Install the new outer seat cover onto the seat cushion and insert the
ten (10) new screws provided. Tighten all screws until snug.
6.
Reinstall the base, with shroud, onto the cylinder and hit the base
with a plastic mallet to secure the base to the cylinder.
7.
Flip the chair upright and sit in it several times to ensure the cylinder
is properly seated in the base.

NOTE: DO NOT hit the inner
cylinder rod with the hammer.
Hit the outer rim of the cylinder.
