This appliance is designed for domes-
tic use or for use in non-commercial,
household-like environments. House-
hold-like environments include staff
areas in shops, offices, agricultural and
other small businesses or for use by
guests at bed-and-breakfast establish-
ments, small hotels and similar residen-
tial facilities.

Connect and operate the appliance only
according to the type plate specifications.
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
Keep children away from the appliance.
Use only if power cord and appliance show
no signs of damage.
Unplug after every use or if defective.

The heating plates become hot. Hold the
appliance only by its grip handles. Use on
dry hair only. Do not use on artificial hair.
Place the appliance on heat­resistant sur­
faces only.
Avoid any skin contact.
Do not use near water con-
tained in bathtubs, sinks, or
in other containers.

Never allow the appliance to touch water.
Even a switched off appliance poses a dan­
ger; unplug the appliance after every use or
when interrupted during use.
Installing a ground fault circuit interrupter up
to 30 mA in the house offers additional pro­
