Operating Instructions.
Adjust the rotation selector switch only when the
machine is at a complete stop.
SCT5-40X (**)/SCT5-40M (**)/SCT6-25 (**): The
screwdriving applications are to be carried out with
mounted depth stop.
SCT5-40M (**)/SCT5-40UM (**): The collated cartridge
may only be operated in "clockwise-rotation direction"
position.

The factory setting is for the small to mid-size screw
range.
The tightening torque also depends on the force with
which the power tool is pressed against the screw.
Repair and customer service.
When working metal under extreme oper-
ating conditions, it is possible for conductive
dust to settle in the interior of the power
tool. The total insulation of the power tool can be
impaired. Blow out the interior of the power tool via
the ventilation slots frequently with dry and oil-free
compressed air, and connect a residual current device
(RCD) on the line side.
If the supply cord of this power tool is damaged, it must
be replaced by a specially prepared cord available
through the FEIN customer service centre.
Products that have come into contact with asbestos
may not be sent in for repair. Dispose of products con-
taminated with asbestos according to the applicable
country-specific regulations for such disposal.
