The unit reaches high temperatures during operation and remains hot for some time after being turned off. Do not
touch the hot surfaces, use handles and buttons.
Storing the unit
Unplug the unit from the mains after use, let it cool down and store it in a safe and dry place. The supply cable can be
wound to the holder placed underneath.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING!
Before cleaning the unit, always disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet!
Prior to handling, make sure the unit has cooled down!
The surface of the unit may only be cleaned using a wet cloth. Do not use any detergents or hard objects, as they may
damage the unit's surface!
Remove the crumb tray, empty it, and install it back into the unit before the next toasting operation. Do not let crumbs
accumulate in the lower section of the unit.
If crumbs remain inside the toaster, turn it upside down and remove crumbs by slight knocking.
Never clean the unit under running water, do not rinse it, and do not submerge it in water!
REPAIR & MAINTENANCE
Any extensive maintenance or repair that requires access to the inner parts of the product must be performed by an expert
service centre.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

• Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled.
• The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste.
• Polyethylene bags shall be handed over for recycling.
Appliance recycling at the end of its service life:
A symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product should not go into household waste.
It must be taken to the collection point of an electric and electronic equipment recycling facility. By making
sure this product is disposed of properly, you will help prevent the negative effects on the environment and

about recycling this product from your local authorities, a household waste disposal service or in the shop
where you bought this product.
