4. Lower the bread into the toasting slots by pressing the lever downwards until it
is completely inserted and remains in this position. The unit turns on.
Note: If the unit is not connected to the mains, the lowering lever will not remain
in the lower position.
5. You may select any additional toasting function as needed (the appropriate
indicator will illuminate).
Bagel function (one-side toasting) – Only the heating bodies located closer to
the external surface of the unit are activated and the unit halves the selected
toasting time.
Defrost function (defrosting) – This function is designed for toasting frozen
bread. It extends the toasting time by the time needed for defrosting bread.
Reheat function (reheating) – If finished toast cools, you may reheat it for 30
seconds using this function.
6. Finished toast is ejected automatically after the selected toasting time expires.
7. If you want to stop toasting before the selected time elapses, press the Stop
button.
8. Unplug the unit from the mains after you finish toasting.
Caution!
The bread may ignite if the unit is not set or used properly. Never leave the unit unattended while in use, to be able to
turn if off immediately, if needed. The unit reaches high temperatures during operation and remains hot for some time
after being turned off. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the handles and buttons.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Caution!
Before cleaning the unit, always disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet!
Prior to handling, make sure the unit has cooled down!
The surface of the unit may only be cleaned using a wet cloth. Do not use any detergents or hard objects as they may
damage the unit's surface!
Remove the crumb tray, empty it, and install it back into the unit before next toasting operation. Do not let crumbs
accumulate in the lower section of the unit.
If crumbs remain inside the unit, turn the unit upside down and remove crumbs by slight knocking.
Never clean the unit under running water, do not rinse it, and do not submerge it in water!
REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE
Any extensive maintenance or repair requiring access to the internal parts of the product shall be performed by an
authorized service center.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

• Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled.
• The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste.
• Polyethylene (PE) bags shall be handed over for recycling.
