5) Connect the machine to the mains.
ATTENTION!
• Verify that the frequency and the voltage of the machine correspond with those of the mains by checking
the plate on the rear of the machine.
• Insert the plug into a compatible socket: do not force it in if it is not compatible; use an adapter with suitable
characteristics.
• Check the data on the plate to verify that the power available from the mains is sufficient to power the machine.
• VGP60N: verify the direction of rotation of the pump. Proceed as follows:
• Insert the plug into socket with the machine OFF.
• Make sure the oil level in the pump is correct (refer to the previous point).
• Open the heating station.
• Switch the machine on without changing any parameter: the base values are already set.
• Wait until the set sealing temperature is reached.
• Operate the calibration by pushing the TAR button on the screen. Close the heating station and wait 4-5 se-
conds: if the rotation direction is correct, the depression in the chamber will be sufficient to keep it closed. If
the rotation direction is incorrect, the heating station opens. In this case, immediately switch the machine off
and contact a qualified technician to invert the phases.
• The direction of rotation of the pump must be checked each time the three-phase plug is replaced.
ELECTRICAL HAZARD
• The phase inversion in the three-phase machines must only be performed by qualified technicians.
• Make sure the mains to which the machine shall be connected to has a suitable and
efficient earthing system.
• Verify that the power cable is not damaged or stuck. If it must be replaced, contact a
qualified technician.
• Only qualified technicians must access live parts.
• Insert and remove the plug by pulling the plug itself and not the wire.
6) Connect the gas
Connect the cylinder to the machine by inserting tube

connector fitted on the rear panel.
Open the cylinder valve
and adjust the cylinder pressure by means of pressure reducer
supplied together with the cylinder to a value of 0.5-1 bar.
