Status LED green – Liquid gas detected at the
measuring point
Status LED red – No gas or inaccurate
measurement
The device switches off automatically after a
measurement has been taken.
LED light
The LED light (2) is switched on by press-
ing the button (4). Re-pressing the button
switches the LED light off again. The LED
light switches off automatically after around
5 minutes.
Undervoltage / malfunction
– The displayed measuring result flashes:
The battery is low (measurements can still
be taken)
– The red status LED flashes and beeps
3 times: The battery is empty
(measurements can no longer be taken)
Battery change
Please only use leak-resistant batteries
(E-Block 9 V), Type 6 LR 61, 6 F 22.
Unscrew the screw (7) from the lower shell.
Push the lower shell in the direction of the ar-
row and detach. Replace the battery checking
the polarity of the wires.
Dispose of the empty battery correctly and
separately from the device.
An empty spent battery can leak and
damage the device! Remove the battery
from the device if the device is not going to
be used for a longer period.
The warranty will not apply to damage caused
by leaking batteries.
Maintenance
Clean the measuring head occasionally us-
ing a damp cloth. Do not use any aggressive
detergents.
Disposal
Dispose of the device and the battery
separately in accordance with the ad-
ministrative regulations of the respective
country.
National regulations and laws must be
observed.
