Intended use
LevelCheck is a mobile filling level indicator
for all (propane / butane – LPG) steel or alu-
minium gas cylinders with a diameter of 200
to 350 mm. The device recognises whether
there is liquid gas in the cylinder at the meas-
uring point and indicates this.
The device is not suitable for tank gas cylin-
ders that can be filled. Welded joints or soiled/
rusty gas cylinders can lead to inaccurate
measurements. Do not take measurements
when a high volume of gas is removed.

Important note
A gas cylinder is filled with max. 80 % of
its volume. The resulting filling level of a
full cylinder changes depending on the gas
mixture (ration of propane / butane) and the
temperature.
Determine the filling level
Determine the filling level by taking several in-
dividual measurements at various heights on
the gas cylinder (from the bottom to the top).
Do not drag the device along the gas
cylinder.
A measurement is started by the pressing the
measuring head (1) horizontally onto the gas
cylinder (confirmed by a beeping sound).
The status LED (3) flashes orange during the
measuring process.
The end of the measurement is indicated via
a second beeping tone and the measuring
result is displayed on the status LED (3).
