Accoppiatore di linea/campo, standard KNX, installazione su
guida DIN (60715 TH35), occupa 2 moduli da 17,5 mm.
La funzione di base dell'accoppiatore di linea 01504.2 è accoppiare una linea
principale TP a una linea secondaria TP con isolamento galvanico tra le due linee
bus KNX collegate. Grazie alla sua flessibilità, l'accoppiatore 01504.2 può essere
utilizzato come accoppiatore di linea KNX (per collegare una linea secondaria a
una linea principale), come accoppiatore di dorsale KNX (per accoppiare una linea
principale a una linea dorsale) o come ripetitore (senza filtraggio). L'art. 01504.2 è in
grado di filtrare il traffico in base al luogo di installazione nella gerarchia del sistema
bus o in base alle tabelle filtro incorporate per la comunicazione orientata ai gruppi.
L'art. 01504.2 supporta messaggi lunghi (con APDU di lunghezza fino a 240 byte)
e presenta una "Funzione manuale" che può essere attivata premendo una volta il
pulsante corrispondente. Questa funzione di inoltro è utile durante la messa in servi-
zio e per la risoluzione dei problemi. Al fine di identificare problemi di comunicazione
comuni, i 6 LED bicolore visualizzano con precisione lo stato del bus su ogni linea.
Funzioni disponibili:
- Soppressione dei telegrammi fisici per i dispositivi.
- Tracciamento del traffico sulla linea secondaria.
- Abilita/disabilita il filtro dei telegrammi di gruppo o dei telegrammi fisici.
- Riduzione del numero di ritrasmissioni.
- Funzioni di diagnostica.

COLLEGAMENTI.
La connessione del bus viene effettuata direttamente dai morsetti del bus (rosso/
nero) situati sul lato anteriore del dispositivo. L'accoppiatore può essere installato in
scatole o su pannelli, a parete o a incasso, con guida DIN (60715 TH35) e in seguito
all'installazione della striscia dati.
CONFIGURAZIONE.
La configurazione del dispositivo e dei rispettivi parametri viene effettuata mediante
il software ETS. Per iniziare a configurare il dispositivo e ad assegnare il rispettivo
indirizzo fisico, premere il pulsante di configurazione.
Tutti i database ETS aggiornati possono essere scaricati dalla sezione
"Software" del sito www.vimar.com.
NORME D'INSTALLAZIONE.
• L'installazione deve essere effettuata da personale qualificato con l'osservanza
delle disposizioni regolanti l'installazione del materiale elettrico in vigore nel paese
dove i prodotti sono installati.
• Prima di effettuare l'installazione scollegare l'alimentazione.
• Realizzare con cura gli isolamenti elettrici nell'effettuare i collegamenti.
• Si abbia cura di tenere le linee a 230 V separate dai conduttori di tipo SELV.
ATTENZIONE: La posa delle linee da 230 V deve essere effettuata unicamente da
personale qualificato.

Line/field coupler, KNX standard, installation on DIN rail

The basic functionality of the media coupler 01504.2 is coupling a TP main line to
a TP sub line providing a galvanic isolation between the two connected KNX bus
lines. Due to its flexibility the 01504.2 coupler unit can be used as a KNX line cou-
pler (to connect a sub line with a main line), as a KNX backbone coupler (to connect
a main line with a backbone line) or as a repeater (with no filtering).
The 01504.2 is able to filter the traffic according to the installation place in the
bus system hierarchy or according to the built in filter tables for group oriented
communication.
The 01504.2 supports long messages (up to 240 byte APDU length) and features
a configurable "Manual Function" that can be activated by a single button press.
This routing function is helpful during commissioning and for trouble shooting. To
identify common communication problems the 6 LED display shows accurately the
bus status on each line.
Available functions:
- Suppress device oriented telegrams.
- Trace the sub line traffic.
- Enable/disable filtering of Group telegrams or Physical telegrams.
- Reduced number of retransmissions.
- Diagnostic functions.

CONNECTIONS.
The bus connection is made directly from the bus terminals (red/black) on the front
of the device. The coupler can be installed in boxes or panels, surface or recess
mounting, with DIN rail (60715 TH35) deep and after installing the data strip.
CONFIGURATION.
The configuration of the device and its parameters takes place via the ETS soft-
ware. To start configuring the device and assigning its physical address, press the
configuration push button.
All the updated ETS databases can be downloaded from the "Software" section
of the website www.vimar.com.
INSTALLATION RULES.
• Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with the
current regulations regarding the installation of electrical equipment in the country
where the products are installed.
• Before performing installation cut off the mains voltage.
• Take care of the electric insulations when connecting.
• Take care to keep the mains conductors (230 V AC) separate from the SELV
conductors.
IMPORTANT: Work on the 230 V mains must be performed solely by skilled personnel.
