ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Check that the mains supply voltage and frequency coincide with the values on the bath's nameplate.
These connections should always be made in accordance with current regulations governing electrical installa-
tions in bathrooms. Make sure that the mains supply line is permanently protected by a duct, and that the bath
is connected to a ground-fault circuit interrupter with a rating of no greater than 30 mA and protected by an
appropriate thermal-magnetic circuit breaker. The bath's ground connection must be both safe and efficient.
Never touch any of the bath's electrical parts when the system is powered up.
THE CABLE
The cable cross section connecting the electrical box to the mains will be 3 x 1.5 mm
ing to the consumption shown on the characteristics plate and type H07VV-F, H07RN-F, H07RR-F, H05VV-F,
H05RN-F or H05RR-F.
If a power cable is damaged, make sure that it is replaced immediately by the manufacturer or after-sales sup-
port service, or a similarly qualified professional to avoid hazardous situations.
OFF-LIMITS AND SAFETY AREAS
Within Area 0, no switches or accessories should be installed. Within Area 1, no devices should be installed
except for switches for very low voltage safety circuits powered by a maximum voltage of 12V AC or 30V
DC, with the back-up power source being installed outside of Areas 0, 1 and 2.
Within Area 2, no device or accessory should be installed that uses a switch or electrical outlet, except for
switches and outlets for very low voltage safety circuits (the back-up power source should be installed out-
side of Areas 0, 1 and 2).
Within Area 3 electrical outlets are only permitted if they are powered or protected:
A) Individually by an insulating transformer.
B) By a very low voltage safety circuit less than 12V.
C) By automatic cut-off of a differential switch at a Max. of 30 mA.
NOTE: The area beneath the product is classified as Area 3.
