The maximum stroke is 40 mm. The top position of the drive screw is shown in Image 8.
8.2 Adjusting the force switch-off
The force switch-off is factory preset (operational force/ closing force see: Technical Data, page 14).
Adjustments are therefore not required.
8.3 Adjusting the travel limit switch
The travel limit switch E1 is wired in series with the force switch K1 for the OPEN direction (stem retracts) and E2 in series with force switch K2 for the CLOSED direction (stem
extends). Adjusting stem E2 is used to limit travel in the CLOSED direction (stem extends) (Image 9). Adjusting stem E1 is used to limit travel in the OPEN direction (stem
retracts) (Image 9). Here the actuating cams must not be moved beyond the switching point of the microswitch.
If travel limit switches E1 and E2 are not required, they can be turned to the respective position using the adjusting stems. The actuator will then be switched off via the force
switch-off.
8.4 Adjusting additional limit switches
The additional limit switches E3 and E4 can be used to signal any intermediate position; they can be adjusted using the adjusting stems (Image 9).
8.5 Adjusting the potentiometer
Upon delivery of the actuator and valve the potentiometer is factory preset (default: 10% of the max. Ohm of the potentiometer).
Readjusting the potentiometer:
•
Move the valve to the desired position.
•
Loosen the grub screw to turn the adjusting ring on the potentiometer shaft (Image 10). The resistance of the potentiometer can be adjusted to any value (default: 10% of
the max. Ohm of the potentiometer.
Potentiometer combined with REtrans 2 W or REtrans 4 W

Move the valve to the desired position

8.6 Adjusting and installing electronic positioners
See separate operating instructions: REpos.
The REpos mounts to the bracket with four fixing screws and onto the motor sheet with four fixing screws (Image 11).

Heater

The heater installation is shown in Image 12.
The heater must be permanently connected to a power supply.
The heater has a thermostat. This thermostat activates the heater once the surface temperature of the heater housing drops below 75°C.

10 Position feedback module for the Repos (I/Y- Modul)
The position feedback module mounts to the mounting bracket with four fixing screws (Image 13).

Replacing parts

13.1 Replacing the adapter board
Attention! Follow safety regulations
The actuator must be disconnected.
•
Remove the carriage to replace the adapter board (Image 17 item 520).
• Remove the board bracket from the mounting plate.
