CAUTION – Risk of injury due to parts
falling off the precision measuring bar of
the SCT 410.
¶
During work with the SCT 410, use
arrestor cables to secure the targets and
the P-Assist laser unit on the precision
measuring bar.
¶
For assembly, disassembly and transport
of the precision measuring bar, remove
the targets and the laser unit.
WARNING – Severe eye damage from
laser beam.
¶
Never look directly into the laser source.
¶
Never point the laser beam at people,
particularly at their face and eyes.
¶
To test function, hold an object in front
of the laser exit point.

Product description

3.1

Intended use

SCT 410 is a mobile post for the precision measuring
bar of the SCT 141x. Only the precision measuring bar
of the SCT 141x may be attached to the SCT 410.
The SCT 410 has an option for an enhanced measure-
ment bay for static windshield camera calibration on
passenger cars.

Prerequisites

Level measuring location:

The inclination of the entire test system may not
exceed ±1.5 %.
$
The flatness of the measuring location of the
SCT 410 may not exceed 1 mm.
$
The flatness of the surface on which the vehicle
is placed is 10 mm.
