Before using for the first time

• Remove all packing material.
• Check that the device is undamaged.

5. Power supply

1. Ensure that the switch|2 is in the 0 posi-
tion.
2. Only connect the mains plug|6 to a
properly installed and easily accessible
wall socket whose voltage corre-
sponds to the specifications on the rat-
ing plate. The wall socket must continue
to be easily accessible after the device
is plugged in.

6. Operation

DANGER! Risk of injury
through burning!
~ Do not touch the hot strips at the base
surface of the round brush|1.
~ Allow the device to cool down com-
pletely before you transport or clean it
or place it in the carrier case.
~ Always make sure that no section of
your hair is curled for too long around
the hot round brush|1. This may cause
serious damage to the hair or even
cause it to burn.

6.1 Switching on and off

The device has two heating levels. Turn the
on/off switch/temperature controller|2 to:
• 1: Heating level 1 (a blue LED|4
lights up):
lower temperature
• 2: Heating level 2 (two blue LEDs|4
and|3 light up):
higher temperature
• 0: Off
Select one of the two heating levels. Allow
the device to preheat for at least 5 minutes.
