WLAN and security settings
The Gigaset USB Adapter 300 comes with WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup). You can
activate the WLAN and security settings very simply if your router/access point
supports WPS.

Click the icon for the Gigaset WLAN Adapter Monitor on the taskbar.
ì
Choose the menu option Without PIN (Apply) as the registration mode on
the tab Configuration – Common.
ì
Press the WPS key (the registration button on Gigaset devices) on your router/
access point.
ì
Click the button Apply.
The connection is then established and your Gigaset USB Adapter 300 is config-
ured.

Please note for manual configuration:
For successful communication, all connection partners in a WLAN must have
identical security settings and the same SSID (Service Set ID).
