NOTICE

Regularly carry out a visual inspection of the unopened filtering
escape device to ensure that:
- the date of expiry is not exceeded
- the filter is in perfect condition
- the packaging is undamaged
- the sealing tag is undamaged
Only use the filtering escape device if it is undamaged.
1 Grasp tab and pull off seal.
2 Remove the adhesive tape.
3 Open the package, take out the apparatus and put it on as
described below.

Facial hair (beard, etc.) and deep scars will cause inward
leakage of air. This device is therefore unsuitable for persons
with facial hair.
Hold the half mask by its straps and pull it over your nose and

mouth with your chin in the chin well.
Fasten the straps at the back of your head.

Leave the contaminated area immediately.

NOTICE

In case of leakages (indicators are e. g. air around the bridge
of the nose or odour), firmly press the mask against your
nose.
