Settings
To reset the default values, proceed as follows:
1. Press the touch key 'MENU' (10) and press
the scroll touch keys (7 and 9) until the menu
option "DEFAULT VALUES" appears.
2. C onfirm the menu option with the touch key
'OK' (5).
3. T he display shows "CONFIRM?".
4. C onfirm the menu option with the touch key
'OK' (5).
Descaling
Over time, leads the continuous heating of the
water that is used to make coffee to lime depos-
its in the inner circuits of the machine. Descale
the machine when the message "DESCALE"
flashes on the display.
Use the descaler recommended by the manu-
facturer only. Under no Their use invalidates
the guarantee. Descale the appliance as de-
scribed.
1. I nsert the hot water spout.
2. P ress the touch key 'MENU' (10) and press
the scroll touch keys (7 and 9) until the menu
option "DESCALE" appears. Confirm the
menu option with the touch key 'OK' (5).
3. T he display shows "CONFIRM?". Confirm
with the touch key 'OK' (5).
4. T he message "ADD DESCALER PRESS OK" is
displayed. Empty the tank of water, pour the
contents of the descaler bottle (125 ml) into
the tank respecting the instructions given on
the descaler pack, then add 1 liter water. For
subsequent descaling operations, descaling
solution can be purchased from authorised
technical service centres.
Make sure that any splashes from the des-
caling product do not come into contact
with surfaces that are sensitive to acids,
such as marble, limestone and ceramic.
